Rodeo has always been a part of my life growing up. My dad and aunt used to trick ride all over the US and even over seas in wild west shows. I tried my hand at trick riding and used those skills in my Jr Rodeo and High School Rodeo goat tying dismounts. I held a hand full of Rodeo Queen titles and was Miss Redding Rodeo 2002. Like I said my family has been around rodeo for a long time and that is why I want to keep my rodeo roots and capture images that the contestants will love looking back on in years to come.
I have taken up a new level in my photography dream. I recently purchased a retired rodeo photographers business and am hoping to continue capturing the action just like he did. I actually have one of the photos he took of me when I trick-rode at Redding on my wall….blown up way big!! I have the ol’ PhotoFast trailer that is equipped with computers ready for you to view your photos during the rodeo and order prints and digital copies with print release.
I do not have the photos from when the previous photographer used the trailer. I will only be selling my own photos.
